Muses:
The girls in the game that the player uses in battle are called Muses, which they will call the player The Conductor. The player will be able to choose the girl they want to use as they go into battles in gameplay.
Each girl will have a skill that the player will be able to unleash in battle. Many of their skills can vary from easy skills to hard skills. An example of an easy skill would be things like recovery or nullifying attacks from enemies. Things that will make it easier for the player in gameplay if they are struggling. An example of hard skill would be things like increasing the player’s strength, but having the downside of taking more damage or technical zones becoming harder.
How to Play:
START – At the START of the song, neither player nor opponent will have an advantage. This will give the player a chance to feel the tempo before reaching the BUILD UP.
BUILD UP – At the BUILD UP the opponent will have the advantage, which means if they have a skill they can use it. The player will enter a technical zone where their performance will be tested. If performance is good, the player will gain an advantage in the CLIMAX, if poor each side will not gain an advantage. (Depending on a girl’s skill, this could be easier to achieve)
CLIMAX – If succeeded, the player will be given an advantage. This could be given strength up, timing easier, healing, or nullifying of any deboost the player has. With the player being able to unleash their girl’s skill at any time, stacked with this boost will give the player a huge advantage(???).
BUILD DOWN – At the BUILD DOWN the song will enter its ending phase. To give back the enemies advantage, maybe skill timers will be reset(???) If the enemy’s hp has hit 1 and is hit again, this will break the opponent. Once the opponent is broken, there will be a quick timed event the player will have to clear to finish them off. If succeeded, the player wins the battle with a break finish(unknown of the rewards given at this time). If failed, the opponent will get back up and recover some health and the game will continue. This can be repeated until the end, and get easier each time (once again a girl’s skill can make this easier). If the song ends without a break, then whoever has more health is the victor. (some story sections will only let you continue if it is a break finish)
